Beta Alanine is a non-essential (the body can produce it on its own) amino acid that, when combined with L-histidine, forms carnosine. Increasing carnosine concentration in muscles is vital for athletes because carnosine can enhance your ability to train harder and longer, as well as prevent the buildup of lactic acid in muscles during exercise, reducing fatigue.
