Premium shoes are designed for runners who want a fast, responsive, and comfortable running shoe. The key advantage of Mizuno running shoes is the balance between cushioning, stability, and responsiveness, ensuring a smooth transition from heel to toe and vice versa.

The 25th version of the legendary Wave Rider shoe offers even more comfort and responsiveness. The upper part of the shoe consists of a two-layer textile AeroHug mesh, providing additional comfort and stability to the foot. The lower layer is elastic and offers excellent grip, while the upper layer is less elastic and acts as a stabilizer. The midsole is made of Enerzy foam, offering the runner even greater comfort, softness, and responsiveness. The Mizuno Wave, a wave plate in the midsole, ensures better torsional stability and responsiveness of the running shoe. The outsole is made of x10 carbon rubber, providing excellent traction on various surfaces.

  • Mizuno Wave: A unique technology that combines two essential elements to create excellent running shoes – comfort and stability. Running exerts excessive forces and tensions on the body, making it essential to strike the right balance between comfort and stability to minimize the risk of injury. The Wave plate allows excellent shock absorption by distributing impact forces over a larger area. Stability in Wave technology is achieved in the outer (lateral) and inner (medial) shoe surfaces, designed to stabilize the foot. Fundamental comfort and stability elements in the Wave plate are designed to be suitable for all types of athletic footwear, reflected in the lightest and most advanced performance shoes.
  • Dynamotion Fit: A system that allows the upper part of the shoe to follow the movement of the foot, preventing instability in the shoe.
  • Mizuno Enerzy: A new material in the lower part of the sole, softer, providing more comfort, and offering greater energy return than any previous materials, resulting in faster running.
  • AeroHug: A two-layer textile upper part of the shoe. The lower layer is elastic and provides good grip, while the upper layer is less elastic and acts as a stabilizer.
  • AirMesh: A new, lighter, more elastic, and durable material (woven mesh) in the upper part of the shoe. It provides excellent ventilation for the running shoe.
  • Smooth Ride: A technology that provides optimal comfort and enjoyment while running. The new middle part of the shoe, developed by Mizuno based on the latest computer simulations of running, allows better shock absorption and increases the flexibility of the running shoe. The extended Wave plate provides a smoother weight transfer from heel to toe.
  • x10: Special rubber that is 80% more durable than existing rubber. It is placed on the part of the outsole that experiences the most wear and effectively protects the sole, extending the shoe's lifespan.
  • Weight: 230g

HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR SHOE SIZE?

Feet size

Follow these simple steps to find your size.

  1. Stand upright on a hard surface with your heel against a wall and a piece of blank paper taped to the floor, aligned with the wall under your foot.
  2. Have someone mark the longest part of your foot on the paper with a pencil, or mark it yourself if needed. Repeat with the other foot, as your right and left sizes may differ.
  3. Measure the length of your foot from heel to the longest toe (called heel-to-toe length). Use the longest length to find your size on the chart above.

Not sure which size to order?

Use the chart above to determine your size. If you're between sizes, choose the smaller size for a snug fit or the larger size for a roomier fit.

How to measure your feet?

Wear socks you’ll wear with the shoes and measure your feet in the afternoon (feet usually swell throughout the day). Distribute your weight evenly before measuring.
