White Pai Mu Tan tea, also known as the "king of teas," has been one of the most esteemed teas in China for centuries. Its name comes from the distinctive silvery hair that covers the buds during the harvest, which turns white as the tea dries.
The leaves used to produce Nutrigold white tea are harvested from a special tea bush, Camellia sinensis, in early spring on the misty mountains of Chinese provinces. The young leaves and buds are plucked just before the buds open and oxidation begins, then naturally sun-dried.
Nutrigold white tea is 100% certified organic and contributes to added fullness of flavor without artificial sweeteners.
The numerous benefits of consuming white tea are almost identical to those of green tea.
However, unlike green tea, white tea is not exposed to high temperatures during processing, making it richer in antioxidants and with a milder and softer taste, less grassy in nature.
White tea is considered one of the highest quality teas, so it is not recommended to mix it with milk. Due to its extremely delicate and subtly fruity taste with mild grassy aromas, it is suitable for drinking throughout the day.
Pour 1 teaspoon of tea with 2 dl of water (75-80°C), let it steep for 1-3 minutes, and strain.
The daily dose varies from person to person, but 3-4 cups of white tea are sufficient.
